Important "Pompadour" ring in platinum 850°/°° set with a large oval sapphire, approx. 3.5 ct, in a double setting of half-cut and old-cut diamonds and calibrated sapphires. French work, circa 1920. Dimensions of central sapphire: 11.4 x 8.2 x 4.9 mm TDD :49. Gross weight: 5.95 g. Small restoration to the ring, three small sapphires missing, small chips.
